The plan

Any drawing with dimensions, or a sketch with measured walls. Photographs of the rooms as they are today help more than inspiration images.

The problem

What does not work now: storage, light, circulation, noise, or simply that the room has never been finished.

Scope and budget

Which rooms, whether building work is involved, and a range you are comfortable with. A range lets the studio propose something real.

Timing

Any fixed date: a move, a lease end, a family event. Lead times on furniture and joinery are counted backwards from it.

For the journal

Corrections and questions about a note go to the same address with the note title in the subject line. Corrections are made in the note itself and the update date changes.
